Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge

    Look for the install icon (⊕) in the address bar on the right side

    PDFNova will open as a standalone app!

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox doesn't support PWA installation natively. We recommend using Chrome or Edge for the best experience, or simply bookmark the site.

Using Chrome Browser

    Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right

    Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"

    Tap "Add" to confirm

    PDFNova icon appears on your home screen!

💡 Tip: You might also see a banner at the bottom asking "Add PDFNova to Home screen" - just tap it!

Using Safari Browser

    Open Safari and visit pdf-nova.vercel.app

    Tap the Share button (□↑) at the bottom of the screen
  3. 3
    Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

    Edit the name if you want, then tap "Add"
  5. 5
    PDFNova icon appears on your home screen!

⚠️ Important: You must use Safari on iOS. Chrome and other browsers on iPhone don't support adding to home screen.

📴How to Use Offline

Step 1: Prepare While Online

Before going offline, visit PDFNova while connected to the internet. Navigate to the tools you plan to use (Merge, Split, Compress, etc.) at least once. This allows your browser to cache them.

Step 2: Install the App

Follow the installation instructions above for your device. Installing ensures better offline reliability.

Step 3: Go Offline!

Turn off your internet connection. Open PDFNova from your home screen or apps. All your PDF tools will work without any internet connection!

🔧Troubleshooting

App not working offline?

Make sure you've visited the site at least once while online. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Don't see the install button?

Try refreshing the page. Some browsers take a moment to detect the app. Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari).

Pages showing "Can't be reached"?

Visit all the pages you need while online first. The browser caches pages as you visit them.
